PUSD TEACHER INDUCTION CELEBRATES ITS PROGRAM COMPLETERS, TEACHER CANDIDATES AND MENTORS

On Wednesday, May 1st, the Colloquium put on by the Teacher Induction Program staff celebrated the culmination of a year-long journey of growth and professional learning for teacher candidates and mentors. The Hawaiian-themed event was kicked off with an A.I. generated song personalized to PUSD's Induction Program. On a whole-group created Padlet, participants paid public tribute to those who have supported them as educators.

Teachers engaged in small group discussions, delving into the resources, strategies, applications, and data that have propelled their teaching to unprecedented heights, consequently transforming the lives of their students.

The Associated Pomona Teachers Union and Grand Canyon University added to the celebration by providing a delicious spread of sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cake, symbolizing the sustenance of ongoing development in the field of education.
